Rich folks from Russia can today grab the Samsung Galaxy Tab for whopping 36,990 rubles ($1,226). That, of course, is the price of an unlocked device, requiring no carrier contracts.
The Android-powered tablet device goes on sale from 5 PM at (select?) Svyaznoy stores where we don’t expect to see any queues.
In addition to Russia, the Tab is also bound to hit other parts of Europe, including the UK, Germany, Italy, Spain and Sweden.
