Folks from Footfeed’s PR team sent me a press release to inform me what their application/service is all about it. And… I liked it a lot. Basically, they allow location-based service users to check-in at multiple services from a single interface.

At the moment, Footfeed sings along Brightkite, Foursquare, Gowalla, Facebook and soon Twitter, Google Latitude and Whrrl.

Let’s face it, there are way too many check-in services at the moment and we’ve no clue which will end up as winners. Perhaps there will be more than a single service, but once integrated into a bigger company (which will most likely happen), users may abandon it. It’s not like we haven’t seen such things happening before.

Moreover, checking-in at several services can quickly turn into a hassle. If you’re in that group, you’ll love Footfeed!

Finally and this is where it gets even better, in addition to working with other APIs, Footfeed also allows other developers to access their stuff. Nice! ;)
