LinkedIn for BlackBerry Updated

For those of you tied into the LinkedIn app for BlackBerry, there’s a quick update to tell you about. Looks like the app is now compatible with BlackBerry 6, so if you’re on a compatible device running OS 6, LinkedIn is ready for you! The other big news in this update is an updated profile design. Here’s the skinny:

Profile Design Refresh: Viewing member profiles is the #1 activity users do today in the application. We’ve re-designed the profile completely to make it easier to see and interact with all the information on it, while also adding two new features. We’ve been asked by many users for the ability to view the connections of the people they are connected to, as well as to see who they have in common with people on the site. Those new features are now available right at the top of the profile.

Cool beans.

Of all the social networks and networking apps out there, LinkedIn has to be the most appropriate for the Berry. We all know the BlackBerry is ‘all business’… some would call it the ‘ultimate’ effective communication tool. LinkedIn is very much like that as well. It was built for business, and when you make connections within the network, it’ll no doubt help you communicate more effectively with colleagues around the globe!
