Although Polaroid as an instant camera device is no longer a product many people want, that doesn’t mean the company is abandoning the new generation of users. As a matter of fact, they announced a Bluetooth printer and have launched an Android application.

Now it’s time to get some attention from the iCommunity. For them Polaroid prepared the Polaroid Instant Camera app which is readily available from the AppStore.

The idea of the new application is pretty simple – to provide users with the legendary Polaroid experience on the iPhone. In that sense, you start the app, select from four Polaroid styles (black and white, vintage, colorize and digital) and take photos old school style. In addition, you can also add these frames to the existing photos from your Gallery – select the photo and frame, and voila – a new image is created which you can then share with your friends via email and/or popular social networks…

And that’s about it, hence we’re not sure whether Polaroid Instant Camera is worth 2 bucks. You be the judge…
