Digital Chocolate is bringing its Facebook game Hollywood City to the AppStore, allowing digital movie moguls to continue playing even when they’re not sitting in front of computers.

The drill is the same (as with the Facebook version) and it goes like this:

Lights, camera, action! Make it big as a movie mogul in Hollywood City and lead your very own Entertainment Empire all from the convenience of your iPhone or iPod touch. Watch the skies light up with your name as you build your media paradise by creating movie studios for horror, drama, comedy and more.

Along the game, you will be building movie studios for horror, drama, comedy and eventually specialize in one of the genres. Moreover, there’s the option to sign production contracts to film TV commercials, feature films, music videos and more.

You can download the game for free and then spend some money afterwards on packs of diamonds, which are available via in-app purchase.

If you own the iPhone and already enjoy playing Hollywood City on Facebook, there’s no reason not to grab the mobile version. Fame and fortune await. ;)
