Things are going smoothly for the world’s best-known VoIP service provider. Skype announced that it has completed the acquisition of Qik with transfer of shares and funds between shareholders of the two companies being completed on Friday.
In its “official blog post,” Skype says they are “very excited about this move,” and look forward to make mobile video products even better. We’re definitely looking forward to have a single app for video calls, conferencing and streaming, and can’t wait for Skype’s next announcement (with the hope it will come with some Qik-like features).
