Best Buy will carry the Verizon iPhone 4 on February 10

The Verizon iPhone 4 is so close that you can almost taste it. Tonight, pre-orders will start for existing Verizon customers at midnight PST, or 3 a.m. EST. However, on February 10, everyone will get their chance to nab the CDMA iPhone. But it won’t be Apple and Verizon alone dishing out the smartphone – Best Buy will be carrying the device at launch, too.

Typically, you can pre-order smartphones from Best Buy when they launch, but that isn’t the case with the iPhone 4 for Verizon. Instead, you’ll have to wake up early, throw on a jacket and rush over to your local Best Buy several hours before the store opens up so that you can be number three in line since you just know those two nerds from down the block are going to be there the night before camping out with their iPads.

Here are the deets straight from Best Buy:

Best Buy today announced that the iPhone 4 from Apple on the Verizon Wireless network will be available in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile specialty stores across the country beginning Feb. 10, the first day the device is available to the public.

“The iPhone 4 is an important device for Best Buy and we are excited to help Apple and Verizon Wireless bring it to even more consumers,” said Shawn Score, president of Best Buy Mobile. “Our customers have come to expect Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores to carry the best selection of mobile phones anywhere, and offering the iPhone 4 on Verizon’s network is our latest effort to deliver on that promise.”

The iPhone 4 on Verizon Wireless retails for $199 for 16GB model and $299 for the 32GB model with a new or qualified upgrade with two-year agreement.

So, how are you getting your Verizon iPhone on February 10? Best Buy? Apple? Verizon? So many choices!
