SendStuffNow for Windows Phone 7

Smith Micro Software is bringing its SendStuffNow application/service to Windows Phone 7 devices. If you’re not familiar with the service you should know that SendStuffNow is a cloud-based managed file transfer service that ensures the secure delivery of files too large to send via email. In addition to Windows Phone 7, the application is also available for other mobile platforms, including iOS and Android with BlackBerry support planned for late 2011. Moreover, SendStuffNow is available as a Microsoft Outlook plug-in and as a stand-alone Windows application.

Once the mobile app is launched, you can select the video, document or image file to be shared. The file is uploaded to the SendStuffNow cloud, while an invitation to download the file is sent via email. Recipients of the file are not required to have a SendStuffNow account and all they have to do is click on a link embedded in the invitation email to download through a web browser.

Sounds cool but I still prefer MediaFire for file sharing. ;)
