A company called Next Gen Games is out with its first iOS game, Ball Busters, which promises to deliver a new twist to the pong-style games. Instead of destroying “regular balls,” you’ll be facing live, animated balls that change their facial expression when they get hit and sometimes shout out if they’re not happy with what’s going on.

There are 6 different worlds and 120 different levels, which is enough to keep you entertained for quite some time. Moreover, when you had it enough playing the standard “Arcade mode,” you can try out “Survival” and “Survival Extreme” modes. Survival mode is unlocked after World 1 in Arcade Mode is completed.

Of course, you can still count on various power-ups that are falling down from the broken balls.

Finally, if you think you’re getting good at this ball-busting action, there’s an option to share your top scores with other players connected via OpenFeint or Game Center…
