You know it can be a pain to get a good service these days? Moreover with so many options, you can’t be sure which product is right for you? The best way to know is to check with your friends and some other folks you trust. That, however, could be a pain even with Facebook.

Enter LoveThis.com, a new service for recommendations that’s made to help folks buy products and services, relying both on your social circle and expert advice to do its magic.

Unlike some other similar market-specific services, LoveThis.com is going for a broad range of products and services — from websites and apps, restaurants and bars to everyday’s services like a good plumber.

The social element obviously comes as given, enabling users to sign-up via Facebook and also link their Twitter accounts. If you opt to provide your Twitter account to LoveThis.com, you will be able to tweet your recommendations using the #lovethis hashtag, which [tweet] will then be posted to the site once you make sure it matches the required, structured format.

Finally the mobile angle – LoveThis allows users to share recommendations via SMS and we’re sure a mobile app is in development as we speak…
