junaio got an extra layer of usefulness thanks to the partnership with Valpek, which will offer location-based coupons to the users of the popular augmented reality browser. As far as end-users are concerned, all they have to do is select the Valpak coupon channel in junaio and see great offers poping up on their camera view. Then, by tapping the dots on the screen, they [users] get additional information about the offer. Finally, if you like the deal, proceed to the merchant and show the coupon displayed on your smartphone. It’s that easy!

Commenting on the news, Valpak’s Nancy Cook (Vice President of New Media Business Development) said: “Partnering with junaio gives us access to a new audience and gives them a fun, interactive way to see which local businesses are offering savings, and then connect to the offer. Now consumers can find discounts on their favorite nearby businesses as they are walking by them or discover new favorites in the neighborhood.”

And you can see how Valpak works on junaio from a short video below. Enjoy!
