TSN at The Masters iPhone App

Yo Canada… following The Masters? If you are, and you already have The Masters app installed on your iPhone (or iPad), there’s another app you may want to check out.

TSN recently released their ‘TSN at the Masters’ app, and it draws some similarities to their main mobile app. The look and feel of it is mostly the same, however a bright ‘Masters Green’ color scheme was set on top. It looks nice.

Inside you’ll find everything you’d expect, from the latest news, live scoring, videos and more… But perhaps the coolest thing in the app is the live coverage of holes 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16. If you recall, The Masters app for iPhone features live coverage, but in the U.S. only. The new app from TSN is a nice workaround for Canadians to get their live Masters coverage on. Good on TSN and ESPN to put this together for the good folks up north (everyone knows we have a huge appetite for golf!).

One other very cool feature is the ‘Featured Groups’ section. Each day of the tournament, two groups will be featured. You can pick them up at the 10th hole, and follow them through to the end of the round at 18. Very neat.

So what are you waiting for? If you’re in Canada, you might as well give it a spin. The app is free, and it brings nothing but Masters goodness to your iPhone.
