The Gitbax iPhone app is aimed at giving you a gentle reminder to follow up with people you’ve met and I believe it can be very useful for business and personal life.
If you’re like me, you’ve been to multiple conferences or events and you meet plenty of people. You probably do the old business card dance or use a new-wave thing like Hashable but you may have problems following up with everyone.
The Gitbax iPhone app is aimed at helping you follow through because you never know where you next sale, job or meaningful relationship can come from. The interface might need a bit of polish but it’s easy to add new contacts, notes and schedule a follow up by type and time.
The cool thing is that there’s multiple options to follow up with contacts, as the Gitbax iPhone app lets you set reminders for e-mails, phone calls, Tweets and more. There’s also a way to send brief “nice to meet you” e-mails to people, although I wonder how spammy that can feel.
The Gitbax iPhone app is free and there will be an online component as well. Ultimately, the company sees this as a CRM play for small businesses. Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.
