Orange UK is the first carrier in the UK to offer the Motorola Atrix. The device is now available for free on plans starting at 35 GBP a month.

As you know, the Atrix rocks NVidia’s Tegra2 1GHz dual-core processor, 4-inch Gorilla Glass-protected qHD (960×540 pixels) touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording capability, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 1GB of RAM, GPS along with an array of sensors, and 16GB of built-in storage. In other words, we’re talking about one of today’s best smartphones. To be fair, it comes with Android 2.2 Froyo with the Gingerbread update set to be released later in the year.

Aside from Orange, T-Mobile will also offer the Atrix in the UK, but only starting from next month…
