HTC ChaCha available for pre-order in Germany, UK

HTC ChaCha, which is one of two Facebook Android smartphones (the other one is Salsa) unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress, is now available for pre-order in Germany and UK. The local branches of Amazon lists the device with a price tag of 319 EUR (Germany) and 250 GBP (UK), which is about $462 and $409, respectively. Both prices are for SIM-free devices, requiring no contract signing with any carrier.

Unfortunately, only Amazon UK says when the ChaCha will be available (June 26) and we can only hope interested users in Germany will get the phone at about the same time (or before).

Anyway, it’s good to know all HTC phones announced in Barcelona are steadily hitting the market. As a reminder, the ChaCha comes with a 2.6-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 5-megapixel camera with flash, 512MB of RAM, 600MHz processor, Bluetooth 3.0, memory card slot, 3.5mm headset jack, and of course a dedicated Facebook button. You can check out our hands-on time with the device from here.
