Remember the Samsung Galaxy S Plus, the updated version of the original Galaxy S? In addition to Russia, it’s also heading to the Netherlands, hinting us we may see it being launched in other parts of Europe, as well. If you recall, this “Plus” version comes with a faster (than the original Galaxy S) though still single-core processor, which clocks at 1.4GHz and pre-loaded Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
Rest of the specs remain pretty much unchanged and include a 4-inch AMOLED WVGA capacitive touchscreen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, 8GB of built-in storage and a memory card slot. The Galaxy S Plus will be available in white and black color options and if you wonder – we don’t know the price at the moment. However, it’s safe to bet carriers in the country will give it away for free to anyone willing to commit on a two-year contract…
