Sony Ericsson’s Panorama app allows Xperia X10 users to take panoramic photos

Sony Ericsson has released a new application for the Xperia X10 called Panorama, which — as you can imagine — allows users to take panoramic photos with their smartphones. The official description goes like this:

This application gives you an easy panoramic photo experience on your Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 phone, and works in firmware version 2.1. Just select a direction, press the capture button and then pan the camera to shoot your panoramic photo. You can also browse and enjoy your photos with a smooth auto scrolling feature.

Still in beta, Panorama works with X10 smartphones running stock Android 2.1 firmware. We’re sure a version of the application for other Sony Ericsson device will follow shortly, but in the meantime everyone can give it a try by downloading APK file from here. We’re not sure Panorama will work on all Android smartphones (heck we’re not sure it will work with other-than-X10 Sony Ericsson phones) but nothing stops you from giving it a shot. Good luck!
