Remember Andy Pad, the British company that promised to launch high-quality low-cost tablets? Well, they announced few additional details about one of their products.
One (first?) of their tablets will come with a 7-screen and run Android 2.3 Gingerbread. We don’t know the screen resolution or whether it [screen] will be capacitive or resistive. We definitely hope you won’t need a stylus, but then again – maybe we expect a lot from a product that will sell for 129 GBP. Moreover, the company said this device will get its power from the popular A8 processor clocked at 1.2GHz, which is cool.
Now we have to wonder whether it’s possible to offer a 7-inch tablet with solid (1024×600 pixels) capacitive touchscreen for 129 GBP and still make money out of it. We think that could be the case here, hence we’re giving it so much space on IntoMobile. As soon as we hear something new we’ll let you know…
