Samsung has finally confirmed the release date for its 10.1-inch Honeycomb-running tablet for the UK. Interested British users will be able to get their hands on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 starting from August 4th. In other words, pre-orders could start any day now, allowing the fastest folks to secure their units before anyone else.
If you recall, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 rocks NVidia’s 1GHz dual-core processor (Tegra 2), 1GB of RAM, HSPA+ (21Mbps) and Wi-Fi connectivity, two camera, DLNA support, Bluetooth and a memory card slot.
Unfortunately, the Korean giant hasn’t revealed the exact launch date for the Galaxy Tab 8.9, which we (or that’s just me) love even more. The reason is simple, it’s smaller hence easier to carry around, while its screen makes thumb typing actually possible (I have a problem with thumb typing on 10-inch tablets). Hopefully we won’t have to wait for too long to see the Galaxy Tab 8.9 hitting the market, as well.
