Angry Birds for Windows Phone is here!

Just when we said that custom ringtones are coming to Windows Phone, we got another piece of good news for all of you with smartphones running Microsoft’s mobile OS. Angry Birds now lives in Windows Marketplace for Mobile, and you can try it out free of charge! Then when you’re done playing the trial levels, you can grab the full game for $2.99.

3 bucks? Isn’t that like 2 bucks more than what the iPhone version costs? Seems outrageous but I guess Rovio could justify the price with fewer Windows Phone users — i.e. they need/want to make more money from fewer people. And besides Symbian version also costs $3.

Anyway, since we all waited for so long to see Angry Birds hitting Windows Phone, bitching about 2 bucks doesn’t make much sense now, does it? Hit this link or search for “angry birds” in the marketplace from your phone to grab the game. And good luck killing those pigs. 😉
