Orange UK is about to get another mid-end Android smartphone to its portfolio – Acer C6 Liquid Express (E320). The device that can’t compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II and HTC Sensation is made for folks on a budget, looking for a cheap way to get into the “smartphone game.” That said, Acer’s baby packs a 3.5-inch HVGA touchscreen, 800MHz processor, 5-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show.
Needless to say, Orange will offer the C6 Liquid Express for free on select plans that will most likely start at about 20-25 GBP per month. Unlocked, sans any contracts, you’ll be able to get the phone for about 200 GBP (my estimate) and use it on PAYG…
