Aside from the Motorola Electrify, U.S. Cellular will be adding another Android smartphone to its offering in the next couple of days (or weeks). It’s the HTC Hero S, which as far as we see is the carrier’s version of the Kingdom (EVO Design 4G). If that’s true (and we think it is), expect a device with specs that include a single-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor, 4-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) display, 5-megapixel camera on the back, front-facing VGA camera (for video calls), GPS, 3G and Wi-Fi data, Bluetooth and so on.
Unfortunately, we don’t have the release date, but are pretty confident it won’t take too long for U.S. Cellular to officially announce the Hero S. We are also not sure how much they’ll ask for the phone – it is fair to assume they’ll sell it for about $200 with a two-year contract. Heck, since there’s no dual-core CPU under the hood, they may cut the price for about $50. We’ll see…
