Let’s face it – most people flock to the Android Market, prompting third-party app stores to innovate to attract users. Amazon knows this and as part of the marketing strategy for its Appstore, it is running a neat campaign, offering users a $2 Appstore credit in exchange for a single tweet.
In order to take advantage of this offer (and grab an app or two for free in return), you’ll need to connect your Amazon.com and Twitter accounts. Then you’ll start automatically following @amazonappstore on Twitter, while Amazon will tweet the following message on your behalf: “I just got a $2 credit for Android apps from the @amazonappstore. Click http://amzn.to/tweetapps2 to get yours. #get2″.
Sounds cool, simple and worth a tweet… as far as I can tell.
