Samsung Galaxy Note hitting UK in November

I guess we knew UK will be among the first countries to get the taste of the Samsung Galaxy Note. After all, we’ve already seen the device available for pre-ordering though at that moment we didn’t have any details whatsoever. Today we have one additional tidbit of information – the 5.3-inch screen equipped phone-tablet will be released in November and will cost about 500 GBP (roughly $770) + VAT.

Yep that’s too steep for 99% of us, but we’re sure 1% is all it takes for Clove (which is the British retailer that announced the release date estimate) to turn this into a success. We’re pretty confident there are quite a few folks out there who will eagerly buy jeans with bigger pockets just to be able to accommodate this superphone and its gorgeous 1280×800 Super AMOLED HD screen. Rest of the Galaxy Note’s specs include a fast dual-core processor, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel one on the front, Bluetooth 3.0 and so on…

Wow… Puccini tablet and now this one. I mean seriously?! I thought opium was banned in Asia a looong time ago? I wonder what in the hell they are smoking these days with prices like this? I better summon motorola right away to school them on what happens to high-priced tablets WITHOUT the letter “i” in front of them.
