T-Mobile finally clarified its plans for the Samsung Galaxy S II super phone and from our brief time with the device, this Android powerhouse may have been worth the wait.
The T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II will sport the largest screen of the American versions with a super-crisp 4.52-inch screen that really pops out. The circumstances dictated we had to shoot the video (coming soon) in somewhat dark lighting but the added benefit of that is that you can really see how bright and incredible this Super AMOLED Plus screen really is.
Inside, the Samsung Galaxy S II for T-Mobile will pack a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and this is sure to pack some power for games, multimedia and overall smartphone usage. Along with a stellar 8-megapixel camera with a flash, this device will have Bluetooth, GPS and support for T-Mobile’s HSPA+42 network.
I know that some of you may be wary of such a large screen size but it’s surprising how easily you can adapt to this if the device is as light and thin as the Galaxy S II on T-Mobile is. We’ve included multiple comparison shots with the original Galaxy S to show you the difference and we’ll have a video up shortly.
