Google has updated its Google Docs app for Android to make it look better on Honeycomb tablets. The application is said to have an “entirely new design” that takes advantage of the larger screen space on tablets. The layout now consists of three panels, including filters and collections, document list, and document details. From here you will be able to see a thumbnail to preview a document and all of its details (i.e. who can view or edit a document) before opening it.

Moreover, this release also brings improved sharing experience with auto-complete, support for both landscape and portrait modes, and improved video playback. Finally, these new features are also translated in 46 languages.

Google Docs for Android remains a free app and you can grab it from a link below (in case you still don’t have it running on your Android smartphone or tablet).
