T-Mobile has announced the pricing and availability of the long awaited HTC Radar 4G. We all knew this day would come, especially when a road map of Magenta’s upcoming phones leaked. The Radar 4G is a beautifully designed smartphone that looks and feels great, checkout our hands on with the HTC Radar here. This will be T-Mo’s first Mango-powered phone.
The handset will have a somewhat outdated 1GHz processor, but it’ll pack some other interesting features like a 3.8-inch 800×480 display, 5 megapixel camera on the rear, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 720p video capture, 512MB RAM, 8GB internal memory, and 1520mAh battery.
This is great news for those who are Windows Phone 7 fans, but it’s yet to be seen how this phone stacks up to offerings such as the Samsung Galaxy S II or HTC Amaze 4G. Windows Phone is just beginning to roll out its handsets as the year begins to come to an end, as it battles the almost impssible task of taking away mind share from the likes of Apple and Android.
The HTC Radar 4G will be in stores next Wednesday, November 2, and will cost $99.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate card with a two-year service agreement and qualifying T-Mobile Classic voice and data plan, plus taxes and fees.
Who on T-Mobile is excited to get their hands on this latest Windows Phone offering?
