I know the photo above is a bit blurry but in the cab to the airport from Chicago (great city, btw), my driver was using a Clear portable hotspot to connect his Asus Slider to a site that was showing a video of the WeTab. This is wrong for so many reasons.
First of all, why isn’t he watching IntoMobile? We rock videos and love our tablets. Secondly: the WeTab? Seriously? If you’re going to endanger my life to check out a tablet, at least make it a good one.
We at IntoMobile are firm believers that mobile devices change the way we work and play in a positive way. I’d also be lying if I said I hadn’t shot out a text or checked some e-mails while driving, even though I knew it was a safety risk. But this is taking it way too far.
Life’s too precious to risk it checking out tablet videos while you’re driving. To be fair, I did make it to the airport without incident.
