Logitech unveiled a new portable Bluetooth speaker, Mini Boombox, which is said to go perfectly with iOS-based devices like the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. As far as I can tell, there’s nothing that will stop it from working with other Bluetooth-enabled devices like let’s say an Android smartphone or tablet.
The speaker rocks a battery that will give you up to 10 hours of playback time, after which it will need recharging (via miniUSB). In addition, there are backlit controls on the top, an on/off switch and the line in port for those non-Bluetooth media players.
All this could be yours for $99, which honestly is not that much. That, however, means you actually need one of these and to be honest – I never quite realized the use case for portable Bluetooth speakers. If you can help me out realize that – please do.
