HTC is now selling the T-Mobile USA compatible Flyer for $299.99 along with a new two-year contract, or for $454.99 for folks extending their contracts. T-Mobile, unfortunately, doesn’t have that deal on its site, hinting us the Taiwanese company decided to be more pro-active in pushing its 7-inch baby to the American public.

Are they clearing out the stock or what? The way I see it, the Flyer may get the Honeycomb update (eventually), but I’m not sure it will be able to run the Ice Cream Sandwich. So HTC needs to clear out its inventory as fast as it can. After all, when we see the first ICS tablets hitting the market, it’s fair to say not that many people will actually want a device with “old” software. That said, we still wait for the Honeycomb for the Flyer — though, it’s available unofficially.

So are you willing to grab the HTC Flyer for 300 bucks… or you prefer waiting for something better (and more expensive)?
