LG Prada K2 P940 Android smartphone is at the FCC

We’re hoping LG is finally gearing toward the launch of its Android-based Prada K2 P940 smartphone, which we’ve already seen “in the wild” before. The device is now at the FCC, where the government employed engeneers are testing its radiation levels and whether or not it fits nicely with their Prada boots. Presuming it gets clearance on both fronts, the Korean company will be ready to introduce its beautful smartphone on the U.S. soil and we’re hoping that will happen sooner rather than later. After all, LG does want to have such a device on the market for the Christmas shopping season… presuming it finds a carrier partner.

Anyway, the LG Prada K2 P940 rocks a 4.3-inch display, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, NFC, dual-core processor and an array of “standard for Android” sensors like GPS, accelerometer and so on. We’ve no idea how much will it cost and can only hope it won’t be available for the rich few only. We’ll see…
