Well what do you know, Huawei managed to get a design award for one of its phones – Vision. Don’t get me wrong, I like Vision and as far as I can tell that device alongside the MediaPad tablet opens the high-end market for the Chinese company. However, I’m not sure I would give them the iF Design Award 2012 for the effort. Sure, it’s a nice phone, but it comes with specs that were considered high-end last year. On the other hand, the judges weren’t looking under the hood, but were wowed with the Vision’s curved display a la Nexus S (or Nexus Galaxy).
