CheckPoints, the location-based service that rewards shoppers just for checking-in at stores, is expanding to reach folks who shop online. Together with FreeCause, they’ve introduced the new RewardsBar which is integrated with the CheckPoints eMarket. Included in the deal are savings from thousands of top online retailers including Macys, Buy.com and Staples.

Now the only problem is whether you as a shopper are willing to install one more toolbar in the browser. If that’s not a big deal and you also want to save some additional cash on shopping, visit this page and take it from there.

Finally before I let you go, you may care to read what FreeCause’s CEO Michael Jaconi said: “CheckPoints is one of the fastest growing loyalty programs in the US and we are thrilled to integrate our technology into their program. Our suite of revolutionary points earning tools will now enable their members to earn CheckPoints for their everyday online search and shopping behavior.”
