First of all you should know Xoom.com has nothing to do with Motorola’s Android tablet. Rather it’s a money transfer service that allows users quickly to beam money from one end of the world to the other.
Up until this point you needed a desktop-class browser (or a PC/Mac) to do that via Xoom.com and now there’s an “optimized for mobile” website that makes the process easier for on-the-go users, whether they own a high-end smartphone or simpler Internet-enabled feature phone. That said, we’re pretty confident Xoom’s mobile apps for various smartphone platforms are in development as we speak.
The secure mobile site, m.xoom.com, was developed in partnership with Usablenet and comes with same features of Xoom’s regular website, including the ability to send money, check the status of a transaction and see current exchange rates.
We at IntoMobile love mobile money transfer services and are looking forward to the day when they’ll become mainstream…

Dusan has been using smartphones since their introduction and is now following the latest trends in the industry. The "convergence" is what he's most excited about, and writing about it is the next logical thing to do. He thinks that using a smartphone is what everyone who cares about their time should do.
In addition to his interests in mobile phones, Dusan also loves to experiment with the latest web and mobile 2.0 services. The idea of accessing and managing your information from any device no matter where you are simply amazes him. Whether it's an online to-do list, note taking service or a video sharing social network, he's there to try it out. He admits though, he's still searching for the ultimate web-based organizational tool, which "sings" perfectly with the mobile PIM application.
Dusan used to run SymbianWatch.com which later became part of IntoMobile. He lives in Serbia, South-East Europe, from where he edits the site on a daily basis.
