Well what do you know – T-Mobile won’t be the only U.S. carrier to offer the white Samsung Galaxy S II. AT&T is apparently working on the same “project” and will soon launch such version of its LTE-enabled Galaxy S II Skyrocket.

Unfortunately, aside from the image above (which looks pretty legit to me), we have no other information like let’s say the launch date. However, it’s obvious this baby has “Christmas gift” written all over it and in that sense I wouldn’t be surprised to see it officially unveiled at some point next week.

Aside from the color change, there are no other differences under the hood. In that sense, the Skyrocket in white will rock the same 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus WVGA touchscreen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 8-megapixel camera on the back, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity and so on. In a nutshell, Samsung Galaxy S II is already one of the best phones you can get these days and its white version just makes the deal that much sweater.

There’s something about a white phone that I just love. I picked this phone out because of it’s screen size but have not signed on to AT&T yet.  I think now that I’ll wait a few weeks to see if this puppy will come out in white.  How sure of this are you?  Because I just called my local store and they haven’t heard of it??
