Video: HTC G1 runs Ice Cream Sandwich

An old dog can learn a new trick as proven by the following video, featuring the original HTC G1 running Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Of course, you shouldn’t expect everything to run smoothly; quite the contrary not only the device is slow, but some of the phone features are not working like WiFi, Bluetooth and rotation. Guess those will be fixed in the days to come, but again – what’s the point?

Anyway, if you have the T-Mobile G1 and want to try this out, head over to XDA-Developers and download the Ice Cream Sandwich port for the G1. It’s an alpha release so you better be careful. And now the video…
