Earlier today, an internal Verizon Wireless document suggested a December 9th launch date for the Galaxy Nexus. Now, a leaked equipment guide all but confirms this December 9th date. The guide is an internal document for Verizon employees and has detailed information about a new handset. Besides the launch date, the document also lets us know the handset will be available in all Verizon retail channels.
Look for Verizon to make the Galaxy Nexus launch date official in the next day or two. There probably won’t be a pre-order, so you’ll have to visit your local store or order online starting Friday. That’s if you still want the Galaxy Nexus after the Google Wallet controversy hit the fan today.
