T-Mobile and Nokia have set up an event Dec. 14 in New York and all signs indicate that we’ll see Nokia’s first Windows Phone land in the United States.

The rumors have suggested that this will be the Lumia 710 rebranded as the “Sword” but you never know what these companies have up their sleeves. If it is the 710, that means T-Mobile fans will be getting a phone with a 3.7 inch screen, 5-megapixel camera and solid internals. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this include support for HSPA+42 for T-Mobile’s 4G.

It could always be the Lumia 800 as well and I really liked that Windows Phone. One thing is clear: T-Mobile and Nokia better not be introducing a new Symbian device.

The IntoMobile team will be there next week at the T-Mobile, Nokia event, so keep it locked here for the latest. What would you like to see?
