Google has just rolled out a neat update for all you movie fans out there, as it has now made it faster and easier to search for movies on your Android device or on the iPhone.

In a blog post, Google says that when you now type in “movies” or a specific theater into your search engine, you’ll get “interactive results for movies in a new swipeable ribbon, with the most relevant information displayed at the top of the page.” Tapping on the movie itself will give you more information about it, including links to IMDB.

It’s not a game-changing update but it’s a small tweak that can make a lot of difference if you really like to check out movies on the go. I still stick with the Fandango app for the most part and I just want its mobile ticketing to be more widespread.
