Well what do we have here – a new LG Android smartphone with MetroPCS logo that will most likely be unveiled at the CES in Las Vegas. The name of the device is LG Connect 4G (model number MS840), hinting us it’s ready to sing along the carrier’s LTE network. However, it’s not a high-end device — rather it’s made for smartphone buyers on a budget.

Specs wise, LG’s baby comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the back, VGA front-facing camera, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage and a microSD memory card slot.

Even more interesting is the fact that MetroPCS may not be the only one to offer the Connect 4G — Verizon (model VS840) and Sprint (LS840) are also on board, each of which will most likely give a different name to the Android smartphone. And again, we hope to see all variants officially announced from the floor of the CES in Las Vegas.
