Good news for our Canadian readers who want the Samsung Galaxy Note. Three of the country’s major carriers — including TELUS, Bell and Rogers — will offer the big smartphone/tablet device starting at mid-February, with Best Buy already taking pre-orders in its stores. In order to secure your Galaxy Note unit, the retailer is asking for a $50 deposit, which seems reasonable enough considering how much you’ll end-up paying for Sammy’s phone. Moreover, at the moment I’m writing this, we see that Bell’s version will cost $199.99, which is $50 less than the one with TELUS’ contract. Rogers Wireless’ Galaxy Note isn’t listed at the moment, but since the operator’s logo is there, I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before Rogers too joins the list.
There you have it. If you plan to get this super-big phone as soon as you can, this Valentine’s Day will be truly special for you.
