The centerpiece of the app is its fashion gallery which lets you find the trendiest clothes, jewelry and accessories in your area in real-time. You can browse through the items and see their price, brand and location on a map. iPhone owners can also find vintage and retail stores using the same map. Each listing has a mini-avatar with some sample clothes from the store, and the store’s contact information. If you like what you see, you can add the retailer to your myFavs list.
Besides finding clothes, the Luster app also lets you share your fashion finds. You can snap a photo of those rare black pumps and share them with other fashionistas. You can leave comments on clothing, mark your favorites as “lusted” and share with your social networks. As with most social apps, the more people using it, the better the experience will be.
