Microsoft stores supposedly taking pre-orders for the white Nokia Lumia 900

We don’t have an official launch date for the Nokia Lumia 900, but that hasn’t stopped Microsoft from accepting pre-orders for the Windows Phone handset. According to recent reports from SlashGear and wmpoweruser, it’ll cost you $25 to secure yourself a Lumia 900, which is available in black, cyan and, surprisingly, white. The original press release for the 900 says the handset will be available in cyan and black only. Though Nokia announced the white Lumia 800, there’s been no mention of a white Lumia 900 until now.

Regardless of color, the Lumia 900 is a gem of a phone. It has a 4.3-inch WVGA ClearBlack display, an 8-megapixel Carl Zeiss rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, a 1.4GHz single-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, and support for AT&T’s LTE network.

Though not confirmed by Nokia or AT&T, the handset is rumored to debut in mid-March with a rock bottom price of $99.

The full price of a Nokia 900 is what a lot People want to know including myself. Another question is that Microsoft must address is will there be 2 types of Windows smart phones on the market such as the Windows 7 series which consists of the Mango and Tango updated Windows smart phones and the Windows 8 super smart phones that will have all the bells and whistles that the Iphones and the Android smart phones now have. Will developers still be writing Apps for the current Windows 7 series Mango and tango updated Smart phones. Microsoft already said the Windows 8 smart phones will run the Apps written for the Windows 7 series smart phones but will Apps written for the Windows 8 smart phones work on the the Windows 7 series Mango/Tango smart phones frankly if I were an App maker since windows 7 series smart phone Apps work on the Windows phone 8 I might just I might just keep windows phone 7 series Apps the only trouble with that is Windows 8 smart phones will have higher resolution screens and other upgrades that the windows 7 series smart phones Apps cant do. Microsoft I hope reads this comment and tells people that they will still support The Windows 7 series Mango/Tango class smart Phones. People are concerned about this Maybe the folks at intomobile can get an answer from Microsoft officials   for us folks and announce it at the MWC later this month
