We haven’t heard from Lumigon for quite some time now. Their smartphones never managed to generate some buzz, even though they introduced few cool novelties. Now they’ve announced a new device, Lumigon T2, which too (like the previous models) is touted as a stylish smartphone that integrates a “sleek Scandinavian design,” along with Bang & Olufsen ICEpower audio technology and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Set to be released in select markets of Europe and Asia during the first half of this year, the T2 comes with a 3.8-inch “ultra-sharp screen” (WVGA?) and 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor (dual-core?). Furthermore, it also has few handy features, like a learning infrared remote control; all it takes to start using it is to point a regular infrared remote control to the top of T2, press the desired command, and it will be recorded into the memory of the smartphone.

Design wise, Lumigon’s baby does look “different,” sporting simple and elegant design. It’s made out of stainless steel and glass, making for a luxury look and feel.

Unfortunately, we’ve no idea how much the T2 will cost, but it’s certain we’re not talking about Average Joe’s next phone…
