Keeping your smartphone constantly connected to an LTE network can quickly drain the juice from your battery. Guess some folks complained to Samsung and/or Verizon Wireless and now the Korean company is offering free i515 Battery Bundle Kit to anyone grabbing Verizon’s Galaxy Nexus along with a two-year contract.

Here’s what you should know about it:

The Samsung i515 Lithium Ion Extended Battery Cover is engineered to offer additional protection for your extended lithium ion battery. This Extended Battery Cover is to be used with the 2100 mAh extended battery included.

You’ll still have to pay $299 to get the phone, though — at least if you want to get it (alongside the Battery Bundle Kit) directly from Samsung. If that’s what you fancy, hit this link and take it from there. Alternatively, you can get it for less from sites like Amazon and Wirefly… It’s your call. 😉
