We’ve already seen the Nokia 808 PureView popping up for pre-ordering in Italy and now it’s also available in the UK (again for pre-ordering) where Clove is offering the powerful camera phone for whopping 538.80 GBP, which translates into about 654 EUR or $859. Yeah, it’s crazy but then again we’re talking about a brand new product that rocks a 41-megapixel camera and no other phone comes even close to that.
Rest of the specs is solid too and includes a single-core 1.3GHz processor, 4-inch nHD AMOLED screen, HSPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, and 16GB of built-in memory. All said, we’re pretty sure camera phone enthusiasts will pick it up, while the vast majority will find it too expensive for what it offers — i.e. it runs Symbian OS which means it lacks a number of good apps.
