The HTC One series is considered by many to be HTC’s comeback product that’ll help the company regain some market share. The One Series is making its presence known in the US and is available on both AT&T and T-Mobile. Noticeably absent from the list of carrier partners is Verizon Wireless, which passed on the flagship One X and launched the mid-range Droid Incredible 4G LTE instead.
This isn’t a mistake or a delayed launched, says a report in Android Authority. According to HTC spokesman Jeff Gordon, “Verizon is not going to be carrying either of the HTC One devices currently announced.” The phrase “currently announced” suggests Verizon may carry a One series phone at some point in the future, but I wouldn’t expect that to happen anytime soon. Verizon customers who really want a One X or a One S will have to jump ship and sign up with AT&T which is selling the One X for $199 or T-Mobile which has the One S for $199.
