Evernote released a major update to its Android app, adding a bunch of features and improvements along the way. As soon as you tap the Evernote icon, you’ll notice a new homescreen from where you can not only create new notes, but also quickly search and browse for existing ones by Notebooks, Tags and Places. Moreover, swiping to the right will take you to the list of last notes you’ve made. Looks awesome as you’ll see for yourself.
And there’s more, including:
- Context-based Action Bars that change depending on the screen you’re looking at. For instance, if you’re viewing a note, the Action Bar allows you to edit, share, tag, and perform other note-related actions. On the note list, tapping the Action Bar can launch a new note, search through notes, and change the sort order.
- Improved note and notebook list both of which come with a new look, with notebook list bringing together your personal notebooks and the ones that others have shared with you into a single view.
- Swipe navigation support – so when you’re viewing Notebooks, Tags and Places, horizontal swiping will move you from one category to the next.
And there’s much more… Simply put, you should stop everything you’re doing and update this very second.
