According to a tweet from the Chronic Dev team, the Absinthe 2.0 jailbreak tool has been used to jailbreak over 1 million iOS devices. The group has logged over 211,401 jailbroken iPad 3 tablets and 973,086 jailbroken devices. The lasest version of Absinthe was released on Friday May 25 and these figures were announced two days later on May 27.

Absinthe 2.0 will jailbreak all current Apple hardware with iOS 5.1.1 including the iPad 3 and iPhone 4S. It will not jailbreak the third generation Apple TV. You can download the Absinthe software from Greenpois0n’s website and follow the instructions from the Chronic Dev team to jailbreak your iOS device.
