Verizon Wireless announced its plans to rollout more LTE service in large number of smaller markets. Big Red will launch its LTE network in Jefferson City and the Lake of the Ozarks region in Missouri. Moreover, VZ is also soon launching LTE in Bedford, Pa.; Jacksonville, New Barn, and Burlington, N.C.; Seymour and Columbus, Ind.; and Gainesville and Panama City, Fla. Many of these new locations will see LTE service light up on June 21.

The largest wireless provider in the United States is excited about the expansion. “The Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network is bringing customers a blazingly fast wireless data service that covers more than two-thirds of the nation,” said Mark Frazier, president–Ohio/Pennsylvania/West Virginia Region. “With the 4G LTE network, customers can leverage the speed and connectivity through a variety of 4G LTE devices to connect with family, friends and colleagues, and continue to push the boundaries of communication.”

Verizon is growing its LTE network at a rapid pace, and they are clearly head and shoulders above the competition.
